Waited five minutes in drive-thru for them to take my order. Only one other car, and they were at the window. Waited another five minutes for a milk shake and Mac and cheese. Whipped cream was melted by the time they handed it to me. It seems that every time this one lady is working the window, the order comes out with something amiss.

I like Steak 'n Shake...their steak burgers are good, I love the shoestring fries, but there is something to be said for bad customer service. It makes the food taste worse. Every time I go through the drive-thru here, there is something dripping from my cup. Whether I get a shake or a cherry lemonade, its ice cream or red syrup. And they person at the window always seems put off by having to clean it off before they hand it to me. Is it too much to ask that I don't have goo dripping from my cup before you hand it to me??? Other than that, It ain't no In & Out burger, but it's decent.

We have limited food choices in Fleming Island, and this is tasty. If you go there on a Saturday or Sunday morning between 930 - 1100, you will wait literally 20 minutes to get a drink or (no refills) and another 40 minutes for food. They are not super busy, but when they generally have 1 wait staff assigned, it is reduculous.

Worst visit ever. Walked in and almost every table was filled with dishes. When they did clean em NO ONE wiped them down till someone would sit down. Seriously tighten up y'all or go home. Then we get a dirty crumb filled high chair with grease stains. You guys don't wipe them down after a kid ew! Health alert ! Especially dishes. Now hey this is peachy listen. New to the area and have tried this joint a few times. First off for the MOST part the food is decent and well worth the price, but I've never seen such rude and ridiculous customer service. On three different occasions we were stuck with the same redhead waitress that should have been fired the first day she started. She's the worst waitress I've ever seen. Takes forever and doesnt come back very often. Just hit the drive through, save the pain.

Was told tonight my drive thru wait would be 4 min....20 min later I still don't have my food. I go back up to the drive through window, and after 25 min they sent me home with COLD food. Never again will I go there or recommend it to anyone else.

Had to wait at the door for a few minutes, but James made it worth the wait. There were only 2 servers & i saw a LOT of mistakes - the kitchen lost one couple's order, and messed up somebody else's. When James went by, he immediately noticed the mistake, apologized and got it fixed. He was friendly and attentive, a true asset to this establishment

Had very good service in here and the staff was very pleasant. We were greeted right as we entered, seated, and given our menus. Our drink and food order was taken in a timely manner and the waitress was always checking up on us. Our drinks were always filled too - never had my ice clink :) The restaurant was very clean, just a taddd cold, but I had a sweater so it was okay. I'd def bring a sweater just in case or you could be miserable while eating! I decided to have something different fpr breakfast besides the normal platter, so I ordered the Chedder Scrambler with a side of bacon and it was SO delicious! It's a pretty heavy meal so I only ate half. The spice was pretty strong and you can taste heavy onion, but it was still so good! Great location to eat at and it's never packed :)

I frequent here and I usually receive good-fair service but the other day my friends and I got out of football practice early and went to Steak And Shake to get the all you can eat pancakes. we were here for 2 hours and we asked for pancakes 6 times only received them twice the waitress spilled water all over us and made us fill up our own drinks and was rude every time we asked for more water. not only was she slow and rude she would only come back every 20-30 minutes to see if we wanted anything else. I would understand being slow and unhelpful if they were busy but we were the only 4 people in the whole restaurant.

Horrible; waited 25 minutes before getting up and leaving. Not one word was said to us while we were sitting. Only 3 other tables in the place and probably 5-6 people working. Very poor. If I could rate a 0 I would.
